This restaurant is an amazing restaurant with great Asian/American/Mexican cuisine that is a welcome surprise!
We randomly visited this restaurant based on the reviews and expected to order a burger and fries 🍟. The Asian cuisine is my favorite and the chef took the time to explain how this is one of only 15 restaurants like it in the country. (Ask for the details, they are happy to explain.) the food is sweet and savory.
My wife and I lean heavily towards the latter and asked for recommendations. My with got the noodles based meal and I chose the spicy rice with shrimp and chicken.
We were having a great time watching our dishes being cooked in front of us. We didn’t spending a lot. The food again, was superb.
If you are ever in the area we highly recommend visiting Tee Jay’s Corner Cafe.
I wish we knew about Tee Jay’s a week ago.
We are traveling but stayed for a week only.
We would have eaten here daily.
Eat and live well!😃

It’s inside the casino, so there may be cigarette smoke, but the staff are so friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. What a gem !

Best coconut soup I've ever had. If you like spice, add some of the street sauce, which is fiery perfection. The pad thai is exceptional, as are all the curries. Crispy tofu is a delicious starter along with the lumpia. The staff are unbelievably kind. I eat here about once a weekand cannot recommend it highly enough.

Some of the best burgers and patty melts in Carson City. Located inside Cactus Jacks Casino, yes, it might be a little smoky inside here, but hey, you're in Nevada! Friendly service and good food what more do you want! Besides all the usual American burgers and fries and sandwiches, they have Indonesian food, sort of like Thai food, but a little different. Other Asian food here to like chow fun and egg rolls. Do go for the clam chowder on Friday's, I'll bet you it'll be the best you ever had.

My friend recommended this place and decided to give it a try. There are only few places here and in Reno that serves a really good fried rice, this is one of them. I have also tried the street-style fried chicken and it reminded me of home. I will definitely go back to this place.

Was passing through Carson City and this got recommended. Absolutely delicious I had the phad thai with chicken. Only downside is the cigarette smoke from the casino, but if you can deal with that it's totally worth it, and if you can't get it to go!

Incredible flavors, comfortable atmosphere, and the best staff! We will come back to try everything on the menu! New favorite place in town! It was easy to try something new because they were eager to explain different ingredients without judgement for my lack of ability to handle spice

We were driving through Carson City when visiting Lake Tahoe, so we decided to stop for lunch.
This spot is inside of a casino which was the only downside for me. Casinos don't bother me, but I don't love being around smoke. You can always get takeout though.
My husband and I shared:
- Indo Burrito
- Krakatoa Cheese Steak
- Fried Banana & Coconut Ice Cream
The Krakatoa Cheese Steak is one of the best things I've eaten this year. It was a mess, but you won't care with how good it tastes. We also loved the burrito and would happily try anything else on the menu.
I was sad that the fried bananas came covered in chocolate sauce (not listed on the menu) because I really don't like chocolate. I ate around it as much as I could and they were still amazing.
This was hands down the best place we ate while in Tahoe. It's a bit of a drive, but I would do it just to eat here.

Thrilled I got to try such amazing Indonesian dishes! The crew was kind, attentive, and our meal arrived fast with interesting notes on its cultural roots. Portions were generous, and the sauces on the tray were rich, tasty, and quite unique. I’ll gladly return on my next visit to Carson City!
